Prevent The Ink From Cracking on Screen Printed T-shirts

blog-cracking2Are you having problems with your ink falling off your screen printed t-shirts after just a few washes? Is your ink peeling and cracked? Does your custom printed t-shirt have faded spots in the design after several washings? Your current screen printer is probably having a curing problem.

When you cure the ink on a screen printed t-shirt it takes about 30 seconds at temperatures over 300 degrees. This makes sure the ink bonds to itself as well as the t-shirt. It is best to use a conveyor style dryer to achieve this exact temperature and time. Ensuring high quality and high durability in the print. Some screen printers will use undesirable ways of curing your shirts. They will cut costs by either curing it with a spot dryer or sometimes even a heat gun. These two corner cutting methods will never produce a high quality screen printed t-shirt. Make sure your Tampa t-shirt printer is using a conveyor style dryer with your shirts.

So what exactly is vector art?
Vector art is art that can be printed on physical promotional products like mugs, pens and calendars. Vector art is also used for the production of wearable goods like screen printed t-shirts, sweatshirts, and embroidered goods like hats and jackets. Your company logo from a computer image must be converted into vector art in order to get clear, high quality art that can be scaled up or down depending on the size of the print. What makes vector art different from other forms of graphics is the ability to be scaled without loosing quality.
